Ideal Industries Furthers Commitment to Ag Market with Zoske’s Manufacturing Merger

Vinton, Iowa – November 2, 2017 – Ideal, Industries, Inc., headquartered in Vinton, Iowa, has expanded on its commitment to Iowa’s agriculture market by announcing a merger today with Zoske’s Manufacturing.  Zoske’s Manufacturing builds a complete line of environmentally responsible livestock waste management equipment in its Iowa Falls, Iowa facility – equipment that aligns well with existing Ideal-branded agricultural product lines.

Ideal Industries was named in 2017 to the Inc. 5000 list of the country’s fastest growing companies for the second-consecutive year. In comments made subsequent to that announcement, company President Patrick Lyons spoke to Ideal’s desire to find “growth opportunities in established markets” including agriculture, via strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions.

“We live in an area of the country where agriculture is a big part of the economy, and we’ve aligned ourselves with companies making products in growth areas of that industry,” he said. Lyons also commented on the mindset behind expanding the company’s existing line of Ideal-branded products.  “We want to increase market share in our own product lines, so that we can maintain our strategy of staying as close to the customer as possible,” he concluded.

For his part, Mick Zoske, owner of Zoske’s MFG, Inc., is excited about the merger and what it means for his company’s future growth.

“I think bringing the two together will fuel the growth of both, and most importantly we will be better able to take care of our dealers and customers,” he said.

The merger increases Ideal’s footprint to 200,000 square feet of available manufacturing space, while in turn providing Zoske’s with additional capacity to accommodate future growth. The staffs of both companies will remain intact.
